Hello and welcome to my blog!
My name is Jenny and I started Medicine and Moscato to help premeds and medical students navigate the journey to medicine, document my own experiences, and what helps me get through it all, wine!
My blog started out as an Instagram page, @medicineandmoscato, but I wanted to reach even more students and elaborate more on my experiences and advice.Â
I graduated from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and majored in biology with an emphasis in healthcare science and a minor in political science.
In college I worked as a technical colleague in a hospital and in the lab that I did research in as an animal care technician.
I spent two years after graduation working as a phlebotomist and lab technician in a clinic as well as volunteering as a family grief support counselor.
I am currently a OMS-III {third year osteopathic medical student} and my specialty interests are neurosurgery, general surgery, and neurology; I LOVE the brain!
I am a wine enthusiast and love to learn about wine and wine tasting and share it with all of you! I want to show everyone that you can share in the love of wine without breaking the bank. My other interests include piano, video games, crafting, boating, and my cat, Rosalind!
