I can’t believe it’s almost March already! 2019 is already going so fast!
I am trying to be more thorough in my wine tasting and really learn how to pick up the different tastes and aromas of different wines. I also started a wine notebook to keep track of what I have tried and my initial thoughts!
I have not had the chance to try many different wines this month since I recently started Invisalign. It is harder to be able to sit and sip since I need the aligners in for 22 hours a day!
But I was able to try another Aldi wine for Valentine’s Day weekend called Stormchaser Wild Ride Red.
Price
Right now, as a college student, price is one of the most important things to me when it comes to wine. This beauty was only $6.99 at Aldi!
I have discovered though that Aldi prices fluctuate depending on where the store is located so keep that in mind if your local Aldi has it for a different price!
Notes
This wine was a red blend from Washington state and had blackberry and woody notes. It had a cherry aroma which I really liked and was more on the sweet side than the dry side but not overpoweringly sweet.
It was semi-full bodied and went down very smoothly! I definitely would have this wine again!
Also, in all honesty, I really bought this wine for the label {is there another way to choose wine?} I love horses and loved this wine so my method worked out well!
