I’m currently a college student which automatically means that I am broke. While I do have money, I cannot bring myself to spend loads of it on wine and I feel like most college students agree with me here. Since I’m tight on cash, I started shopping at Aldi {why I never shopped there before, I have no clue} and discovered that they have some cheap wine! I’m talking like $2.50 wine . . . crazy, I know.

Moiselle

The first one I bought was called “Moiselle” and had a cute little dress on the label {as you will come to learn, I base my wine selection on two things; if it’s red and if it has a cool label}. I got their sweet red and it was good! It was not dry, it had cherry and strawberry notes and was just sweet enough without being overpowering.

Not bad for a wine under $3! Moiselle also comes in a Moscato and sweet rosé. {Note, prices vary based on what Aldi you shop at! The Aldi by my college had Moiselle for under $3 but the one in my hometown had it for about $5}

Flirty Bird

The second cheap wine I tried was called “Flirty Bird” and I mainly got this one for its cute name, but I’m glad I picked it up! This one was also under $3 at Aldi. Flirty Bird is a red blend and had hints of blackberry and spices. I had it with some lemon garlic steak with zoodles I made! The red blend was the only kind of Flirty Bird wine I saw.

Wine does not have to break the bank to be tasty! My favorite wines are from Aldi, first, because they taste good and second, I don’t feel guilty about buying them! Anyone else love cheap, Aldi wine? Tell me your favorites in the comments or in my DMs on @medicineandmoscato
